What size cats fit in the Purrfect Places house?
Our boxes feature a compact 13.5" x 13.5" footprint that fits seamlessly into your home. However, don't let the square base fool you! The corner-to-corner diagonal offers over 19 inches of stretching room. This scratcher box is designed for both for small and large cats alike. Our own cats range from 8 to 20 lbs and all fit comfortably. If you have an extra-large breed, we recommend measuring your cat in their curled sleeping position to confirm fit, or send us a message, we're happy to help!
How much assembly is required?
Nearly zero. You do not need any frustrating stickers or glue. Simply pop open the box, drop the high-density scratch pad into the base, and it is ready for your cat in seconds. On top of that, it folds back flat for easy storage.
Is the box shape purely for looks, or does the design serve a purpose?
Every angle of our scratcher is intentionally engineered to support both feline instincts and physical comfort. Our "Three-Tier" design serves a specific purpose at every turn:
- 11.2-inch Privacy Wall: The tall back panel acts as a secure, den-like anchor. By blocking sightlines from behind, it provides a dedicated sanctuary where cats can sleep and groom with a total sense of security.
- 6.5-inch Side Walls: We designed the side panels at this specific height to be the ultimate ergonomic "sweet spot." They are high enough to provide a sense of enclosure, yet perfectly positioned to act as natural chin rests for cats who want to lounge while staying alert.
- Low-Profile Front Entry: Accessibility is at the heart of our design. The low front entry ensures that kittens and senior cats with limited mobility can step in and out with ease, making it a welcoming retreat for every stage of a cat's life.
Are the materials safe for my cat and the environment?
100% yes. The entire Purrfect Places structure, including the premium 3 cm corrugated scratch pad, is fully recyclable and made from eco-friendly, non-toxic materials.
